Tunnel Series

The Tunnel Series TEAs are designed with a patented, high-performance cross flow technology that maximizes heat transfer when pulling air through a heat exchanger. The number of airflow paths required to operate is reduced when compared to traditional impingement flow TEAs. The smaller form factor Tunnel Series offers cooling capacities exceeding 100 watts to support a wider range of cooling applications including analytical and medical instrumentation. Available in standard and custom configurations, this product series is offered in two heat transfer mechanism configurations:

Air to Air

The AA Tunnel Series is an Air-to-Air thermoelectric assembly (TEA) that minimizes the number of airflow paths required to operate. It offers dependable, compact performance by cooling objects via convection. Heat is absorbed and dissipated through high density heat exchangers equipped with air ducted shrouds and brand name fans. The heat pumping action is generated by thermoelectric modules, which are custom designed to achieve a high coefficient of performance (COP) to minimize power consumption. Custom configurations are available, however MOQ applies.

Direct to Air

The DA Tunnel Series is a Direct-to-Air thermoelectric assembly (TEA) that minimizes the number of airflow paths required to operate. It offers dependable, compact performance by cooling objects via conduction. Heat is absorbed by a cold plate and dissipated through a high density heat exchanger equipped with an air ducted shroud and a brand name fan. The heat pumping action is generated by thermoelectric modules, which are custom designed to achieve a high coefficient of performance (COP) to minimize power consumption. Custom configurations are available, however, MOQ applies.
