Poron Conductive Fabric
Hand-Held Device LCD Cushioning and EMI Protection
Poron Conductive Fabric (PCF) gaskets are RoHS compliant EMI shields
that are comprised of Rogers® Poron, Laird Technologies fabric and
conductive adhesive.
The result is a product laminate that is ideal for liquid crystal display (LCD)
cushioning and EMI protection in hand-held monitoring devices. PCF gaskets can be die-cut as picture frame gaskets so they fit into handheld
devices such as mobile phones or PDAs underneath the LCD screen to
provide cushioning and EMI protection.

- Reduces hand-held device weight since the PCF gaskets
replace metal stamping frame - Reduces number of parts since PCF gaskets provide both
cushioning and EMI protection - Parts are available as customer specific die cuts or rolls
(25cm, 30cm, 50cm widths). Other thicknesses are available. - Quick prototyping since no steel is needed to create
gasket frame(s)
