A Yagi-Uda Array is commonly referred to as either a Yagi or "beam" antenna. Named after the men who invented it in 1926, the antenna is a directional antenna consisting of a dipole and several parasitic elements. Yagi antennas are used with CB radios, Ham Radios, and one farms to boost cell phone range.
