Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of customized, performance-critical components for wireless systems and other advanced electronics applications, today announced the launch of its newly designed website, www.lairdtech.com.

The redesign of the website offers easy home-page navigation of all products, full product and custom capabilities content, as well as local points of contact for inquiries and distributors. The new site integrates content from all of Laird Technologies’ previously acquired companies including AeroComm, EZURiO, Antenex, Cushcraft, Melcor, Pacific Wireless, Steward, and Supercool.

“The new website is a key step to fully present the company’s broad product portfolio and custom capabilities that have evolved over the last several years of new technology development and company acquisitions,” according to Blaine Bateman, Laird Technologies Vice President of Marketing. “Customers and visitors alike will now have much better access to the entire company versus only limited product line areas. Although we serve so many product and market areas, many of them are related to the communications revolution that is happening around us. Thus, a key message with the new site is that Laird Technologies provides ‘Innovative Technologies for a Connected World’.”

Easy one- or two-click navigation sends visitors directly to product categories with drill-down to product lines and individual products without leaving the home page. The company’s major product categories include Antenna and Reception solutions, Mechanisms for Mobile Devices, EMI Solutions, Thermal Management Solutions, as well as Wireless M2M and Telematics Solutions.

Each page on www.lairdtech.com contains ‘Contact Us’ links, including ‘smart’ product-specific information for the appropriate product category that link visitors quickly to their local Laird Technologies support team. ‘Where to Buy’ links connect users to Laird Technologies’ large network of distribution partners around the world.

The site also expands and details the industries in which Laird Technologies’ products and technologies are applied. In addition, www.lairdtech.com provides an expanded online catalog linked to product pages for easier drill down and product-specific descriptions.

To better serve our global customers, www.lairdtech.com will soon include a completely translated Simplified Chinese version of the site. In addition, language portals in Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and German versions will also be added.
