Laird to Showcase Industrial Portfolio at Brazil Automation ISA 2013

October 30, 2013 – Laird, a global technology company, announced it will attend Brazil Automation ISA 2013, one of the top automation fairs in Latin America. Laird will showcase products for industrial automation and remote control with systems that increase productivity, safety and provide a high return on investment. ISA will take place November 5 through 7 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, SP, Brazil with Laird exhibiting at booth #D20.

Industrial solutions including the Laser Collision Avoidance Systems - LCAS and the LRC-L1 Operator Control Unit (OCU) will be demonstrated at the show. The LCAS protects cranes and hoists from contact with other equipment or end walls by using retro-reflective class 1 laser technology. It features a simple push-button set up that gives users the ability to program their system and activate the alarm and stop functions at an exact distance. The LRC-L1 is a highly versatile remote control OCU that displays important feedback information onto a graphic LCD or LEDs. Both products are deployable for cranes, hoisting systems and other machines.
